As a Senior Account Strategist at CMDS, you will work on planning and ensuring the lifecycle of client website projects. You are the primary liaison between the internal CMDS team and the client. Your job is to serve both the client and the company by facilitating the success of ongoing client relationships. You will provide strategic input and come up with creative solutions to meet their goals. As a senior member of the team, you will have leadership and organizational responsibilities helping the team meet goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Own existing and new accounts, including the client relationship and overall project management
  • Be the primary point of communications between CMDS and the client
  • Assist in developing effective business proposals for clients.
  • Develop internal and external business presentations as needed.
  • Attend new business meetings, give presentations and provide value
  • Plan new projects (web sites, print pieces, some marketing) that are specific to the client and write proposals
  • Provide strategic and creative input to guide the direction of the client
  • Come up with creative solutions to meet business and client goals
  • Work with our team of Designers and Developers to help design successful outcomes
  • Generate account reports on both periodic and adhoc basis.
  • Schedule and prioritize client deliverables within defined scope, timeline and budget
  • Make sure that projects/tasks are on schedule/delivered on time
  • Look for and capitalize on opportunities for upsells (increased scope, new projects, marketing opportunities)
  • Make sure that the client is well taken care of
  • Hold the client accountable for their commitments/requirements to the project
  • Keep tabs on project hours/budget
  • Setup client in Asana to manage the projects
  • Document all meetings and communications
  • Follow up on past due invoices
  • Interact with marketing department when projects overlap
  • Provide sales support
  • Assist with quality assurance, testing and documentation
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues and resolve questions
  • Analyze online campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvements, with assistance from Director of Marketing
  • Develop sales strategies to meet marketing objectives.
  • Develop a positive and continuous working relationship with customers for business growth.
  • Educating and pre-qualifying leads and managing the CRM when new sales opportunities arise

OUR REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years project management experience with a web or technology company
  • 10+ years of experience managing client accounts in a professional services setting
  • Experience leading strategic UX/UI discussions across a broad variety of goal-driven environments (i.e. Web sites, mobile applications, e-commerce, web applications, etc) a major plus
  • Experience leading a team a plus
  • Your own method of transportation for work and meetings
  • Willingness to put in the hours necessary to accomplish tasks and meet all deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of popular content management systems (wordpress especially, joomla, drupal)
  • A passion for streamlining business processes to save time and money

COMPENSATION

We’ll pay for approximately 50% of your medical, 100% dental, every Friday off, 2 weeks paid vacation plus holidays, as well as give you a great place to grow. Salary for this ranges based on experience.
